Hunting Knives

From the Field to the Table

Hunting knives are the first type of knives I made.  They are meant to finish the job without needing to be sharpened and are comfortable in your hand while using different grips.  I recommend stainless steels such as S35VN and Magnacut for hunting knives.  Carbon steel requires more care but I have some Blue #2 and K390 that are good carbon steels for hunting knives

Field Tested

I didn't go from making hunting knives to selling overnight.  I have many patterns out there that I gave to family and friends who I knew would use them.  My work as a Game Warden allows me to test my cutlery and knives first hand and make functional changes.

Pass it On

Cutlery and knives very often times become family heirlooms that are passed on.  I would be honored to become part of your family history.  My hunting knives come with a sheath handmade by me as well.
