I began making knives in 2010 when I was unable to find a suitable knife that could complete a task without being sharpened. This was an issue for work. There is nothing worse than having to stop and sharpen a knife when it was dark, late, and cold. So I made my own and have expanded to selling them.
What you see for sale here is my best work. I also like making gifts for your special people or occasions. This personalizes the project for me and is very motivating.
I make each knife by hand and this process varies for each project. I also work full time and this affects the amount of time I have throughout the year. In general, I'd say the more lead time, the better. I can usually complete a knife and sheath within 2 months even when I'm busy.
